Ford Kenya party leader Moses Masika Wetangula has advised President Kenyatta to make his cabinet be on the run as they intend to deliver services to Kenyans based on integrity.
Speaking on Wednesday evening at KTN's point-blank hosted by Tony Gachoka, Wetangula noted that the corrupt individuals derail the government's agenda of development and should be tamed through sacking.
"Free advice to Uhuru and his government, all public office holders are in office because of their political authority. Where there has been lack of public confidence he can ask them to resign or sack them," Wetangula said
He added that currently the head of state is in shackles running the affairs of the country due to the failed strong support, determination and push from his Cabinet as a majority of them have been implicated in the corruption scandals.
"If you cannot jump, you can be forced to jump. Uhuru should make his cabinet jump. He lacks the strong will in running affairs of state," he added
He, however, noted that he has no moral responsibility and authority to pass judgment on the government he is not part of.
Wetangula's advise to Uhuru comes amid heightened rate of corruption in government with top officials implicated in various scandals
