A woman from Kiambu has been arrested for allegedly murdering her boyfriend.
The suspect, identified as Lucy Wambui is accused of stabbing Vincent Mwangi, multiple times using a kitchen knife.
The incident is said to have occurred at their home in Kamwangi, Gatundu North, following a domestic quarrel between Wambui who is in her 30's and her 28-year-old boyfriend.
Confirming the incident, Gatundu North OCS David Luchacha said the two have been living together for some time now.
The police officer further revealed that the victim bled to death after sustaining stab wounds on his chest, Citizen Digital has reported.
According to Luchacha, the suspect had fled the scene after committing the crime but was later apprehended at her hideout following a tip-off from members of the public.
Wambui will be arraigned in court where she will face murder charges.
