Munga speaking to this writer via phone on Wednesday evening, termed the reports as 'sheer propaganda'.

"I am actually very surprised by the online reports that I am among the presenters leaving Inooro FM to another station. That is sheer propaganda and figments of fertile imagination. I am still working at Inooro FM where I continue to discharge my duties as usual," Munga said.

According to a well-placed source within Royal Media Services who had spoken to this writer earlier, Munga was headed to the yet-to-be-launched Iganjo FM owned by businessman Andrew Ngirici.

The other five include Kihara Wa Gathua, Ephraim Antony Mugo, Wanjiku Wa Njuguna, Muhia Wa Maina and Jeff Kuria.

On asking Munga to confirm whether the other five colleagues were still on the move, he said 'I cannot confirm at the moment but let's wait and see'.

Munga, a former presenter at the now defunct Mururi FM, has been presenting Inooro FM news since 2013. He has also worked as a voice-over artist at Inooro FM's creative department on different intervals.

Apart from his radio job, Munga is also a Kikuyu gospel music artist with a few albums under his name.

Iganjo FM set to be launched soon alongside its sister Kikuyu TV station (Mt Kenya TV), is threatening to shake up Inooro and Kameme FM's dominance of Kikuyu radio market.
