In a tweet on Friday, the ODM parliamentarian stressed on the need for Kenyans to join hands against the troublesome vice.

The lawmaker spoke after once again participating in building a home for one of her elderly constituents in his better housing programme dubbed 'Ondoa Nyasi'.

He termed himself clean and a man of integrity, adding that the monies used in the campaign are fairly acquired and traceable.

"Ondoa Nyasi Program. This modest dwelling for Mama Saadia (1/2/19) is NOT built by Stealing Hands; Nor Constructed On Stolen Land; Nor By Using Stolen Public Funds! Enough Said! Let’s Stop Corruption!" he tweeted.

Amollo has been using the campaign to offer his constituents, especially poor and widowed better housing structures.

His appeal to Kenyans comes at a time when corruption seems to be hitting the ceiling, at a time when more and more scandals are being unearthed.

The latest one and the hottest debate currently is the dam scandal where close to Ksh21 billion has reportedly been lost in the construction of Arror and Kimwarer dams in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
