In a video doing rounds on Facebook, the youthful governor now says he's ready to table evidence in court linking Joho to the illegal drugs business.

The governor who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto has further cautioned the ODM deputy party leader against his threats to sue those that have linked him to drugs trafficking.

"Somebody must have cheated Joho to sue us. I have accepted his letter and I'm ready to file evidence on the drugs allegations," said Sang in a video he spoke largely in the native Nandi language

"He is going to kneel down to touch me. Good thing being, he can't reach DP Ruto anymore but work on us, Sudi and the others," he added.

The county boss further said they are gathering evidence against the Mombasa governor and will this week present it to the Director of Public Prosecutions for actions.

Joho has threatened to sue a section of politicians among them MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Didymus Barasa (Kimilili) and Nandi Senator Samson Cheragei after they accused him of drug trafficking.
