Deputy President William Ruto has assured his followers that he will not allow opposition chief Raila Odinga to split the Jubilee Party.
Ruto argued that no matter what Raila does to create a rift in the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led party, they will remain focussed in achieving the Big Four Agenda.
While addressing Kiambu and Kajiado residents during different events on Sunday, Ruto accused Raila of being a hypocrite who is only good at sowing seeds of division.
"Be wary of false prophets. They are just clothed with sheepskin but are wolves," said the DP.
"It has been difficult to unite Kenyans because some people have a history of sowing seeds of division," he added.
Ruto is accusing Raila of orchestrating a plot to impeach him by introducing an impeachment motion in parliament.
However, Ruto allies led by National Assembly Chief Whip Benjamin Washiali have vowed to shoot down any motion aimed at tainting the DP's image.
Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru noted that Jubilee politicians who are against Ruto's 2022 presidential bid have lost direction, adding that the party will remain strong.
“Jubilee does not belong to Ruto or Uhuru. Jubilee is a unified party,” she said.
On his part, Kimilili MP Didimus Barasa was quick to remind Raila that one's development record is what will determine the winner in the 2022 presidential race.
