Deputy President William Ruto’s endless trips to Western Kenya will not bear fruits, Amani National Congress (ANC) Secretary-General Barrack Muluka has said.
In an interview on KTN News last night, Muluka said that the second in command is free to visit the region as a tourist and nothing more.
He reiterated that the region is ready to stand with one of their own in reference to his boss Musalia Mudavadi when that time comes.
Muluka noted that this time round it will not be business as usual. He revealed that the party has put in place different measures to ensure that their candidate ascends to power with minimal challenges.
Muluka maintained that Mudavadi’s presidential dream is not farfetched as alleged by his rivals from other camps.
He further noted that Western leaders love peace and they are ready to work with anyone who is likeminded but Mudavadi is their candidate of choice.
“We have put in place measures to ensure Mudavadi wins the presidency in 2022. This is the time Kenyans will see the true Mudavadi, a man who will unleash a financial campaign war chest like never before.
"Ruto is welcome to Western as a political tourist, but he will get no vote there,” Muluka said, as quoted by Standard.
