Raila’s friend Don Bosco Ooga Gichana, who is a businessman cum politician, has hurled insults at governors who want the term limit in their offices be extended.
Angry Don Bosco, on Wednesday, turned to his Facebook page and hurled insults on the governors who want their term in office extended, telling them to go to hell.
He even said his wishes that it would be better if a law was enacted to prohibit the governors from serving as governors then going for another elective post after they have done their two terms in office.
"Governors y'all can go to hell! You can't abolish term limits be it in the current constitution or any other constitution that may be promulgated. Never!!!! do your two terms go home or seek another elective seat. I would also love in case we enact a new constitution current Governors who have served two terms should not be allowed to vie again in their current jurisdiction or any other,” he said in his post.
“That particular area and presidential should apply retrospectively. Also, rotational presidency should be considered apart from the powerful premiership, that should be left open,” he added.
Bosco who was recently released from prison in Tanzania over money laundering was at the forefront in Raila's campaigns in 2007 although Raila never saw victory.
Although he has not officially confirmed what he is going for in 2022 elections, he has been having an eye over the Kisii County gubernatorial seat.
