A host of Jubilee politicians may have been dropped by Deputy President William Ruto as he assembles a formidable team in Gusii ahead of 2022 polls.

Already, Ruto has identified youthful politicians some of them first time legislators and has entrusted them to run his campaign.

Those in the campaign team include Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango), Shadrack Mose (Kitutu Masaba) and youthful George Mosiori, a nominated MCA in Nyamira Assembly.

Conspicuously absent include Walter Nyambati, Joseph Kiangoi all who served as MPs at one time from Nyamira.

Former CIC boss Charles Nyachae, Chris Obure and Sammy Nyangeso are also not in the picture despite actively participating in Jubilee campaigns.

In Kisii County, South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro and Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka have taken charge.

The vast Gusii region could determine 2022 polls given the 1 million votes currently thus making the region all important for candidates.
