Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua is among the vibrant politicians who have shown interest for the 2022 presidential seat.
Taking on his Twitter account on Wednesday, Mutua displayed to Kenyans more about his presidential ambition. He said that his ambition is not all about serving the nation, awarded or acknowledged but to offer the best for the people who believe in him.
“I have the ambition to be President. Not for the accolades, but for what I want to offer. The new energy and zeal I have and want to share. It's not about the money, it's for people who believe in me. The revolutionary tribe of change,” he tweeted.
He also believes that he has that potential to lead the country as he is young and has that strong energy to transform the nation after president Uhuru.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader who is also on his last term in office maintained that electing him will be a good thing as there will be a revolutionary tribe change.
Among the people who have already declared their interest in presidential seat 2022 are the Deputy President William Ruto, Wiper leader Kalonzo and others.
