For the third time in as many days, Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny has again accused Deputy President William Ruto of failing to take responsibility of deteriorating maize farming.

Last weekend, Kutuny, in the company of Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills) and Silas Tiren (Moiben), accused Ruto of strangling maize farming through importations.

Bouyed by his Tuesday's revelation about Ruto's Koilel Farm Limited, Kutuny insisted that the ICC debate was being rekindled to divert attention of farmers.

"By introducing the ICC narrative, the cartels must know that their diversionary tactics will not stop us from fighting for the rights of the farmers. I want to put the same cartels that their days are numbered and it is just a matter of time they will be brought to book once the investigating agencies complete their probe into the matter which cartels paid millions of shillings at the expense of the farmer.

"I am aware that some busy bodies and a number of cartels who are implicated in the maize scandal are working on crude ways of seeking public sympathy so as to divert the attention from keys issues facing farmers to ICC narrative," argued Kutuny.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1918777901574458&id=100003267990688.

On Thursday, former ICC witness William Rono, sensationally claimed that Kutuny, in the company of State House operatives, had approached him and two others to revive the case at ICC, a claim Kutuny dismisses as 'stupid'.

Ruto was cleared in 2015 after over five years of prosecution in the Hague based court, after the prosecution terminated his case citing intimidation of witnesses.
