Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has promised to sponsor two fans for the final match of the Group F AFCON qualifiers scheduled for next year March.
The outspoken MP was part of the leaders who attended the match at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani, in a match that Stars won 3-0.
He posted on his Facebook page that he will travel with two fans, who will be picked randomly for the match, further promising to cater for all expenses.
"Ecstatic & electric environment in Kasarani today. On 22nd March 2019, Harambee Stars will travel to Accra for the final group game. I would like to travel with 2 followers of this page, picked randomly. I will cater for everything from acquiring a passport-if you don't have one to travel & accommodation. Why do you think it should be you?"
This is not the first time Kuria is offering to sponsor fans for major sporting event, having done that a couple of times before.
In July, Kuria sponsored 100 Gor Mahia fans to go watch a Confederations Cup tie against hosts Yanga SC at National Stadium, Dar Es Salaam.
He has also been attending major sporting events, including the Mashemeji derbies that always attract huge numbers.
