Nyaribari Masaba MP Ezekiel Machogu said DP Ruto's Friday, tour to the region is aimed at helping improve infrastructure in the churches.

"Ruto is coming to Ichuni parish to preside over a fund drive in aid of Amabuko and Kiamirega Catholic churches. The DP's return to Gusii region is not political," he noted.

The lawmaker insisted that local politicians should stop politicizing any visit DP Ruto makes to the region.

"Those opposed to DP Ruto's style of politics should stop politicizing his visits to the larger Gusii region. As leaders we must push the Building Bridges initiative," he stated.

He urged youths to shun politicians who to incite them to cause mayhem with intentions to remain politically relevant.

"Political aspirants should shun divisive politics and uttering words which may incite our people. I am urging those who lost during the last year's polls to wait until 2022 to try the luck and stop engaging in hatred politics," he added.
