The National Resistance Movement(NRM) supporters were left disappointed by Raila on Sunday.This is after their leader failed to turn up in a rally at Kamunkuji grounds in Kibra.However, they were still addressed by other leaders,among them James Orengo and Bony Khwalwale,who urged them to boycott products from Bidco,Safaricom and Brookside.

Some of them could be heard asking where he was and why he had decided to stay away from the rally. 

Raila Odinga skipped the rally to attend a church ceremony at All Saints Cathedral where he met President Uhuru Kenyatta. The service was to celebracelebratecelebracelebrate 100 years that the All Saints Cathedralhas been as a house of worship

It was the first time the two were meeting after the October 26 repeat election in which Uhuru won with a landslide but Raila did not participate as he had withdrawn from the race. 

There is rising tension in the country following the heightened political activity pitting the two with Raila threatening to frustrate Kenyatta's administration through economic boycotts.

The two leaders have ruled out holding talks on formation of a coalition government to restore normalcy in the country. Uhuru has promised to rule with an iron fist as he works on his legacy.
