Education is the greatest weapon to eradicate poverty in any society.
Teachers and students of Magena Primary school in Sensi ward Kisii County are at a risk of being injured following the worst state of old classrooms which have already developed cracks.
The school lies at the bottom of Manga Hills bordering Sensi ward and Nyatieko which also cuts Kisii and Nyamira counties.
It is situated on the rocks a hard place which has been forgotten by both County and national Government leaders posing a risk to innocent pupils learning in a dirty unconducive environment.
Speaking on Tuesday, a teacher who did not want to be named fearing for his life said the school has been forgotten by area member of parliament who only built 3 classrooms leaving the rest almost collapsing added that the toilets too are in the worst state ever.
"This is terrible. If you look from the back of this classrooms they have already fallen and we are risking the life of this children. You can see even the toilets are bad. We ask the area MP to help us build new classrooms so that our pupils and teachers can have a good environment," he bitterly said.
