Anxiety is flowing among campus revellers at Moi University main campus after Kenyan songstress Nadia Mukami confirmed that she will indeed be performing at Kenyanna Campus Awards (KCA) that is scheduled to happen on Friday night at the school’s students centre.
The radio love hitmaker who was recently ranked as the fourth most influential university student in Kenya also confirmed that she will be performing alongside popular comedian Dj Shiti and former member of The Kansoul, Mejja.
“This Friday on 15th of March, I’ll be at Moi University alongside Mejja and Dj Shiti. So tell a friend to tell a friend to come for the event,” Nadia confirmed in a video.
The KCA awards is aimed at recognizing talented students who are performing exceptionally in various categories such as entrepreneurship, photography, music, blogging among others.
Chief organizer of the event who is also a full-time rapper popularly known as Sir. Ng’ang’a revealed that this is only the beginning of an event that will soon spread across all the universities in Kenya.
“There are so many youths out there who are doing exceptional in their fields. Such talents need to not only be recognized but also natured. A few years to come KCA awards will be a national event that will be nurturing talents across all the universities in Kenya,” Ng’ang’a stated.
The entrance fee will be Sh199 only.
Apart from the three established artists, local artists from the Kesses-based institution will also have a chance to perform at the prestigious events.
