A Member of Parliament has warned against delaying Rongo University student Sharon Otieno's murder case.
Among those who have been charged with Otieno's killing are Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his personal assistant Micheal Oyamo.
The county boss has been remanded at the Industrial Area GK Prison awaiting the determination of his bail application tomorrow (Thursday).
Kandara legislator Alice Wahome has called for the speedy conclusion of the case, warning key witnesses could be compromised if delayed and the case be interfered with.
Speaking in an interview with Citizen TV, Wahome said there is a need for DCI boss George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji to solve the issue quickly.
"If you put together all evidence quickly, this murder case can be completed within two months. When the case takes too long, the witnesses can be compromised therefore giving false information. The people who committed this murder need to be jailed," she said.
