The battle lines have been drawn in ODM leader Raila Odinga's Siaya turf with a by-election looming in Ugenya constituency.
Last week, the Court of Appeal upheld a decision by the High Court to nullify the election of Ugenya MP Chris Karan.
Whereas Karan was not very clear whether he will heading to the Supreme Court or not, former lawmaker David Ochieng' noted that he was ready for a new poll, adding that he will carry the day even if fresh elections were conducted today.
"I look forward to meeting my opponent on the ground and in the campaign. If he decides to go to the Supreme Court, I'm sorry that I have a very good legal team that has led my case from the High Court....Let's meet either on the ground or in the next place," said Ochieng.
While hitting out at Odinga over his six-piece voting pattern, Ochieng said that the move amounts to subversion of democracy.
"Six-piece is illegal, it is a way of subverting the proper mind of the electorate," he added.
On his part, Karan expressed confident that he will floor his opponent once again in case a fresh election is conducted.
