Opposition activist Miguna Miguna now claims that the ruling Jubilee Party is its own enemy and can only blame its pending collapse on its own wrongdoings.
In a tweet on Sunday, the embattled former Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful noted that the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led side is succumbing to its poor leadership.
According to the firebrand barrister, the party can no longer hold itself together due to internal contradictions and disagreements.
"Jubilee is dying of its own crimes, tyranny, internal contradictions and the unbearable weight of its excesses against Kenyans," he observed.
His follows recent contradictions within the party, with Deputy President William Ruto's side claiming that plans are in place by forces close to Uhuru to sabotage Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
Miguna also went ahead to attack President Uhuru Kenyatta, questioning his leadership skills and accusing him of closing his eyes to the many challenges troubling Kenyans.
Miguna noted that Uhuru's government has completely failed to tame impunity in the nation, laughing off the supposed peace acquired after his truce with opposition leader Raila Odinga, terming it inconsequential.
"What we have in Kenya is not peace. Its the institutionalisation of impunity and glorification of mass murder, torture and maiming of innocent Kenyans," he added.
