Kitui Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has urged all women in the country to dethrone their men 'weak' counterparts in leadership positions come 2022.
Speaking at Masii during the roll out exercise of the biometric registration, the iron Governor asked her women colleagues to forget about the gender parity debate and face off with their men counterparts to showcase their strength.
"Women must stop asking about the two third gender rule.We must come and remove you from those seats na tukalie(and we seat on them),"she said
She maintained that they will marshal themselves and unseat the current 'weak' leaders.Reiterating that they will garner support and that its time will come together to remove all weak links as leaders
"We women of Kenya must now come together and form a strong women's movement,Women wa kutoa pahali tunaona kuna weak leader.,"said Ngilu in a broadcast by KBC
She expressed her interest in presidency and acknowledged that it is an uphill task.
She applauded the Head of State for his big four agenda for the country ranging from manufacturing, food security, housing and better health care.
The Huduma number registration kicked off with the government targeting to ease workload and help in proper planning for the country.
The two third gender bill was last month defeated as MPs failed to raise the requisite number to pass the bill.
