Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli is unwilling to uncurse former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, it has emerged.
Speaking in Lamu in April, an angry Atwoli took issue with Khalwale's frequent attacks on him, cursing him that he will never cease being a beggar in as long as he remains in politics.
Atwoli also predicted more trouble for the vocal ex-lawmaker, adding that misfortunes will always follow his political career and will never realize his Kakamega gubernatorial ambitions.
Speaking on Saturday, political analyst Herman Manyora said that he has been trying to plead with the vocal trade unionist to lift the curse off the ex-senator in vain.
"I have asked Atwoli to uncurse Khalwale but he has refused to listen," he said on his YouTube analysis channel Take It or Leave It on Saturday.
He said that Atwoli's curse could as well be the reason behind former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa's woes, whom he cursed on January 5 over claims of badmouthing him.
Speakng at the burial of Lugari MP Ayub Savula's daughter, Atwoli cursed the youthful politician for reportedly claiming that Atwoli has been unable to fend for his family.
Echesa controversially lost his cabinet seat earlier in March, before his arrest in relationship to the Matungu killings on Friday, with Manyora saying that Atwoli's curse could be the cause.
"I have asked him to uncurse these people but he doesn't listen, Look at what is happening to Rashid Echesa now," he added.
