A section of Gusii elders have lashes out at Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang' over claims that area schools are prone to cheating in exams.
Led by James Matundura,they 'cursed' Kipsang for linking Gusii secondary schools to exam cheating.
"As elders we are not happy with Kipsang. Gusii secondary schools have been performing well because of the dedicated teachers TSC has deployed to our schools. Kipsang should tender apology or lose his job," he said.
Mr. Matundura said Kipsang and other education officials are not happy on how Gusii people are making it into government.
"Kipsang and other selfish people in the education ministry are not happy with the way our sons such as Interior CS Fred Matiang'i, Antony Kibagendi and Solicitor general Mr. Ogeto are making it to top government jobs. Kipsang may not get peace if he can't apologize," he added.
He urged teachers to continue working around the clock to prepare KCPE and KCSE candidates to excel in the final exams.
