In the orders issued on Thursday, Nyakundi was additionally ordered to delete all articles and social media posts he published about Steve Mbogo on November 28, 2018.

Mbogo moved to court asserting that Nyakundi distributed slanderous articles on his site connected to his marriage. He said that because of the said slanderous remarks made, different bloggers and social media clients had shared the story and made him a subject of discussion

“The article written by the plaintiff to the utter prejudice of the plaintiff whose reputation has been and continues to be immensely damaged and have been turned into objects of cyber bullying unless the orders herein are granted , at least in the interim to curtail further dissemination of the defamatory articles written by the respondents against the applicants,” reads court papers.

Mbogo said there was no legitimization for the blogger to distribute a slanderous article concerning him and his family. The politician further claims that the articles have tarnished his reputation.

Mbogo filed the case together with his wife Swabrina Jamal.
