Kibra MP Kenneth Okoth has disclosed the effects of Chemotherapy drugs to his body.
Tweeting on Monday, Kenneth noted that he is battling with the deadly cancer he was diagnosed with earlier.
Okoth was termed a hero by his colleagues for publicly disclosing non-curable stage cancer had reached in his body.
"Napambana na Hali yangu kabisa. Chemo drugs are brutal on the skin and immune system," Okoth tweeted.
Having gone through various treatment of bacterial infections and other diseases, Okoth was later diagnosed with stage-four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver. This is said to be the non-curable stage.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi admired his strength noting that Okoth has been his inspiration.
"I admire the strength, resilience and the spirit my good friend and colleague Kenneth Okoth has displayed. He is a true warrior who has faced many challenges in life and I've seen him fight and come out on top. This cancer is no different. He is a fighter and I know he will come out on top as always," Sudi was quoted.
Okoth is among the youngest MPs in Parliament who have been doing his best for his locals.
