Muungano Primary School former Deputy Headteacher Joseph Muturi was on Thursday arraigned in court to answer to six charges of defilement.
The prosecution told the court that Mr Muturi who also doubled up as the games master and school first aider is accused of defiling six girls during a county sports competition at Kijiwetanga Primary School.
Kilifi Senior Principal Magistrate Justus Kituku heard that the crime was committed between 8 and 19, February this year.
The girls are said to be aged between 12 and 17.
It is alleged that the accused seduced the group and defiled them, after ordering the other participants to spend the last night of the events at Muungano Primary School.
The accused denied the charges and was released on a bond of Sh500,000 with a surety of the same amount, reports the Standard.
Through his lawyer Robert Nyachiro, the accused pleaded for better bond terms, but was remanded at the Bofa GK Prison pending the next mentioning of the case on April 23.
It is reported that the accused was moved to Migodomani Primary School immediately reports of the allegations leaked to the public.
