An MP from Kisii County has reiterated that he respects Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro while speaking on Tuesday at Kenyoro Primary School in Bogetenga ward said he has no differences with the Interior CS.
"I respect Matiang'i, my big brother. As one of the elected Members of Parliament from Kisii County; I am behind Matiang'i as he discharges his duties to Kenyans," he stated.
The vocal legislator who is a member of Deputy President William Ruto's 'Tanga Tanga' movement assured that he will not at any point disrespect Matiang'i.
Osoro maintained that he will not spare anyone soiling Matiang'i's name insisting that politicians should stop dragging Matiang'i's name into politics.
"Matiang'i is committed to serving Kenyans in the crucial Interior docket. He should not be dragged into politics. Those claiming that the super minister was involved in the fake gold scandal are not well-informed about who is Matiang'i," he stated.
He also challenged his rivals to keep off village politics so that he can have time to deliver.
