Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has hinted on who may have actually killed former Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.
Khalwale while speaking during NTV's AMLive morning show said that Sharon may have killed by a lover who felt rejected or cheated by the youthful girl.
The former Kakamega County gubernatorial aspirant said love today has become so dangerous that any rumour(s) that may arise about an individual's partner can lead to death.
"Either a lover, or lovers, of this young lady who felt jilted, may have taken action," Khalwale said sadly as he gave an account of how he received news of the death of Sharon whose body was found Kodera Forest.
Migori Governor Okoth Obado's name has widely been mentioned with regard to the death of the lady who is said to have been raped, stubbed on the thighs and neck before being killed.
Obado has roundly denied the claims linking him to Sharon's death and has, interestingly, called for thorough investigations to be done to help bring to book the killers.
His personal assistant Michael Oyamo, the man who was among the last people to be seen with the slain student has since been arrested and is in police custody helping police in instigating the incident.
