A woman in Nairobi has attempted suicide in one of the most painful ways.
The woman who resides in Umoja estate sustained serious injuries after jumping off from the fourth floor of a building.
She was two months pregnant.
According to reports, the woman decided to take her life after learning that her boyfriend was cheating on her.
She is also alleged to have tried taking her life twice in what forced the boyfriend to report to the police.
The woman is currently recuperating at Mama Lucy hospital.
Community educators encourage people with troubles in their lives to seek help from relevant authorities to solve their stress issues insted of turning suicidal.
In slum areas like Kibera, many have been rescued from the temptations of suicide and are now successful businesspeople in the residence.
