Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama's latest reshuffle of Cabinet members has caught the attention of local leaders.
The leaders have condemned the oldest governor saying the latest reshuffle won't boost service delivery in the county.
"There will no tangible development the people of Nyamira should expect because the leadership of Nyamira county is rotten. Nyagarama's latest reshuffle won't benefit the people nor boost service delivery because he shifted people with irrelevant skills to serve in departments they know nothing about," said Okioma Omwancha, a local politician.
Kefa Moenga, a youth leader from Manga said the county boss is hiding evidence because he has used county chief officers to embezzle public funds.
"Nyagarama must be investigated because he is only reshuffling Cabinet to hide evidence. The DPP must move with speed to have the lazy governor probed before he embezzles all the money," he noted.
Rachael Otundo, a Kisii based politician faulted governor Nyagarama over the unnecessary Cabinet changes saying he is a disgrace to the people of Nyamira.
"It is sad that Nyagarama is shifting Cabinet members to various department not because he want to boost service delivery but, to play with the electorates' minds because he has stolen public funds," she noted.
Nyagarama reshuffled Cabinet in a move which caught most county staff off-guard.
