Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Monday met with United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) secretary general Dr.Mukhisa Kituyi in the sidelines of the annual investment meeting in Dubai.
"Exchanging ideas about the future of our great nation on the sidelines of the Annual Investment Meeting," his tweet read in part.
Taking to his Facebook page, Kuria, however, blasted the government for failing to represent the state at the investment conference.
He said, despite Kenya Investment Authority being voted as the second best in Africa for best investment projects, no government official was present to receive the award.
"At the Annual Investment Meeting Gala Dinner in Dubai with Dr Mukhisa Kituyi and CEO Centum James Mworia.
"Kenya Investment Authority has just been voted the Second Country in Africa for the Best Investment Projects. Sadly no one from Government or Keninvest was there to receive the award and the country was not even represented at the meeting. Anyway, Congratulations," Kuria posted on his Facebook page.
The vocal Jubilee legislator who recently declared his 2022 Presidential bid has been on the forefront agitating for the welfare of the farmers and economic empowerment of the nation.
