His remarks follow the graft cases that the Supreme Court Judges are battling within the country with Justice Jackson Ojwang facing removal from the Judiciary after allegations of bribery emerged.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) wrote to the president asking him to form a tribunal to probe the conduct of Justice Ojwang.

"The Supreme Court of Kenya is rotten, It simply lacks credibility,..what do they want Judges in Junior courts to do? Follow suit? Fake everything," Etale decried in a Tweet.

The ODM's communication boss noted that the highest court in the land has set a bad picture to the entire Judiciary since junior court Judges and Magistrates may 'opt' indulging in fictitious and 'unethical' conduct while also making judgments.

The independence of the Judiciary has been on the balance as the section of politicians accusing the Judiciary of undermining or being used as the scapegoat.

Early this year, the Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi accused the Supreme Court Judges of receiving bribes in order to rule in favour of the Wajir Gubernatorial contest in which he implicated Judges of great repute.
