A police officer has gone into hiding after he was busted in the act with a married woman in a bush in Magombo on Sunday.
The officer, Boaz, was unarmed when he was caught with the woman, Elizabeth Moraa. Moraa’s husband, John Mabuka, said he has been suspecting his wife of having an affair with the officer.
“I have been questioning my wife about the illicit love affair with the officer but she kept on denying.
On Sunday I left home to Magombo shopping center when I was called 2 hours later that my wife was spotted with the officer entering a bush," he revealed.
Area local chief Alfred Motari said the matter is under investigations and the government will communicate.
“This is not the first case to be reported in the area. Married women have been falling into tricks by the police officers who end up impregnating them and abandon them.
"We will get into the root of the matter since the woman confessed that the officer gave her Sh1,000,” he noted.
Police officers at the station declined to comment on the matter.
