Residents of Ichuni ward are in shock after area MCA Samuel Gekonge Mirieri sent a condolence card to KCPE candidates in his ward.
Locals claimed that the MCA who was elected on a KANU party ticket is a disgrace, careless only interested in earning a salary.
"It is worrying that the MCA sent a condolence card instead of a success card to KCPE candidates who are starting exams tomorrow. This tells the level of carelessness the MCA has," said a local Brian Omae.
Timothy Nyabaro condemned the MCA and said if the candidates fail the poor MCA should take the blame.
"We will blame the MCA if KCPE candidates fail in the exams. People like him should not be given the opportunity to continue serving the people," he noted.
Immaculate Nyabonyi faulted the MCA saying he might have been drunk when he sent the condolence card thinking it was a success card.
"We should not blame him because he might have sent the card under the influence of alcohol. Police must intervene and ask the MCA how comes he sent the condolence card instead of a success card," she argued.
