Ijara MP Sophia Abdi Noor has hit out at Amani National Congress (ANC) Party leader Musalia Mudavadi asking him to surrender the public money he allegedly swindled during his tenure as Finance and Local government minister.
Noor says that Mudavadi should stop pretending that he is clean.
Speaking in Ijara Town on Tuesday, the MP claimed that Mudavadi has no moral authority to speak about graft.
She said that the former cabinet minister should surrender himself to the authorities and stop making attacks on the Jubilee government.
“Mudavadi should tell Kenyans where he took Goldenberg money instead of attacking leaders who are focused on serving Kenyans,” she said.
The MP accused Mudavadi of hypocrisy, adding that he should be investigated for alleged misconduct during his tenure as a cabinet minister.
The Ijara lawmaker said that they will not allow Mudavadi or any other leader to talk ill of Garissa Township MP Aden Duale.
On Saturday, Mudavadi hit out at Duale asking him to respect himself.
Mudavadi through his party Secretary-General (SG) Barrack Muluka accused Duale of staging attacks on leaders opposed to Jubilee government style of leadership.
Mudavadi was responding after Duale called for his investigation over the Goldenberg and Mavoko land cemetery scandals that were allegedly unearthed during his tenure as Cabinet Minister.
