This has since led to a stiff competition for clients among these commercial sex workers.

And with the rate of competition becoming higher, these twilight girls have come up with unscrupulous means to earn more including the use of drugs to steal from their possible clients in order to meet their basic needs.

These drugs have no colour, smell, taste and one can easily consume in any form without his knowledge.

Anne Njoki, a commercial sex worker along Oginga Odinga Street, admits that indeed they have been using several of these drugs to steal from their clients.

"Yes, we do use them. It's not something new here as it has been there for a long time now," admits Njoki.

These drugs include:

GHB (gamma hydroxybutyric acid)

It's colourless and odourless. If administered in a drink, the victim quickly feels groggy and sleepy and upon recovery, one may have an impaired ability to recall memories of the events that occurred during the period of intoxication.

Rohypnol (flunitrazepam)

These drugs are in form of tablets and can be crushed and snorted up the nose or dissolved in a liquid prior to drinking. The drugs cause sleepiness, muscle relaxation and an ability to forget what transpired.

These are just some of the drugs these twilight girls use to steals from you and it's advisable that in case you ever needed any commercial sex service, be careful lest you will walk out empty-handed.
