Socialite Vera Sidika has left many shocked after she celebrated the news that her Nigerian ex-boyfriend has been arrested in Dubai.
Vera took to social media to celebrate the news of the arrest of her ex-boyfriend who once assaulted her.
The socialite in a post on SnapChat on Wednesday said she received news of the arrest on from a friend.
She said what goes around comes back around following her unfortunate situation with her ex-boyfriend.
Vera, however, seemed sympathetic as she said it was not easy to spend a night in a Dubai jail and prayed that God will be with him.
“Someone called me yesterday to tell me that an ex that once wronged me got arrested last week …. so karma does exist, what goes around …. definitely comes around.”
“Spending nights in jail in UAE ain’t cute though. I can only imagine…May God be with him,” posted Vera on SnapChat.
In June 2017, Vera opened up on social media on how her ex-boyfriend assaulted her while the two were in Dubai.
She went further and shared videos of the assault while they were still in a relationship.
In one of the video clip, the ex-boyfriend tries to grab her phone while she is recording and in another video, Vera is seen filming on the streets as the ex follows her from behind.
“I could care less about what y’all think… but God knows I was patient. The first time he hit me I left Dubai and never set foot since January even after he kept asking me to go,” Vera wrote on Instagram in 2017.
