Butere Member of Parliament Tindi Mwale has been the latest notable politician to weigh in on Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju's woes, following an alleged leaked anti-Deputy President William Ruto phone conversation.
The former Rarieda lawmaker has found himself under criticism from Ruto's allies who now want him to resign over claims of undermining the DP.
Speaking on Monday, Mwale noted that though Tuju had every right to communicate with former Limuru MP George Nyanja as is alleged, he was a little careless on matters privacy.
He observed that Tuju's position at the helm of the ruling party places him in the same league with his party boss President Uhuru Kenyatta, adding that he should handle such with care.
"Tuju should know that the position he has been given is constitutionally even bigger than that of the party leader (Tuju ajuwe iyo kiti amepewa ni kubwa hata kushinda ya party leader kikatiba)," he said.
The MP was speaking on Radio Maisha's Bunge La Maisha show on Monday morning.
He advised Tuju to be very careful when speaking about private matters, telling him to be extra cautious to avoid being exposed, even when contacting family members and relatives.
"He must be careful with what he is saying because of his position. He must be careful even with what he is telling his wife (Aangalie hata ile anaongea na bibi kwa simu kwa sababu ya hiyo nafasi ako nayo. Aangalie ni nini anasema)," he added.
