A man in Birongo, Keumbu in Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County is yet to come to terms after a man, a Nissan matatu driver eloped with his wife.
Joseph Oroo said his wife Agnes Gesare abandoned him with their three kids.
"My wife has been operating a salon business in Keumbu market for the last two years. She starting going outside the wedlock early this year and when I questioned her, she packed all her belongings and eloped with the driver," said Oroo on Thursday evening at Keumbu where he owns a kiosk.
Mr Oroo vowed never to allow the woman to come back to his home.
"I will not re-unite with her because she has hurt me and betrayed me. I'm ready to live with my three kids she left behind," he added.
Area chief Henry Nyang'au confirmed the incident.
"Oroo reported the matter to me after his wife abandoned the kids eloped with the driver who operated Keumbu-Nyamira route. There are women loitering at Keumbu market looking for men to marry them," he said.
He warned that anyone abandoned his or her parental duties won't be spared.
