Speaking on Radio Citizen on Friday, Mutua revealed that the former Kathiani lawmaker has lost her footing and has actually gone bankrupt over the last few years.

He claimed that the former Machakos gubernatorial aspirant is grappling with many unpaid debts and owes him close to Sh4 million drawn from previous court defeats.

The same, Mutua said, is the case with the national poll body Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) which Ndeti also owes close to a similar amount.

"Ndeti is bankrupt and actually has close to Sh10 million in unpaid debts owed to me and the IEBC. She has been paying me in bits and still has a pending Sh4 million debt," Mutua said.

The county chief claimed that the former Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader has since lost some of her property to banks and debtors over unpaid borrowings.

"Her houses and pieces of land have been confiscated by banks and debtors because of her inability to pay back loans and so on," added the Maendeleo Chapchap party chief.

The two were recently involved in a scuffle, after Ndeti successfully appealed Mutua's August 8 reelection in the appellate court early this month.

She appeared second in the hotly contested race on a Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) ticket.
