In the video, the man can be seen withdrawing money from an M-Pesa before proceeding to his car where he hands over the money to an eagerly waiting police officer in the car.

The man identified as Frank was arrested on Friday August 17 for parking his car near Electricity House.

He was being taken to the police station but when they arrived at the police station, they asked him for something small or they take him in.

The man, who found their deal good, decided to take the short-cut.

They took him to St Peter’s cleavers county yard, where he withdrew the money and handed them.

Interestingly, the man was recording the whole incident.

The video reached Governor Sonko who shared it online and asked for observations from residents.

The said corrupt officers will be charged as investigations into the matter continue.

He further asked Nairobians to be vigilant and report all cases of corruption and bribery to his office.
