Athlete's foot, improper personal hygiene, wearing shoes that don't breathe and socks that make your feet sweat are the causing factors of this condition.

Fortunately, there are some natural ways that you can employ to combat the condition without incurring an immense cost.

One way to purge the condition is by using lemon. Lemon is laced with organic acid and citric acid that has antibacterial and antiseptic properties that quell dangerous bacteria.

In the first process, ensure that you have lemon and hot water. Squeeze the lemon to obtain half a cup or one cup of lemon.

After this process, pour the lemon juice in a basin containing hot water. You will be required to soak your feet for at least 15 minutes. Rinse your feet with clean water. You can do this twice a day.

Alternatively, you can resort to using the oil derived from lemons. In an ounce of water, add 10 drops of lemon oil and mix. Then add some fresh lemon juice. Wash your feet using the solution.

Another alternative is using baking soda with lemon. This combo has numerous benefits including getting rid of smelly feet. In a basin, add half a cup of baking soda, eight cups of water and one lemon juice. Soak your feet for about 15-20 minutes.
