A debate on who is the King of Bongo flava between Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize aka Kondeboy has taken over social media platforms.
The two singers are big names both in Tanzania and in Kenya. In fact, it is rare to listen to any Kenyan radio station from morning to evening without them playing songs from these two artistes.
What is emerging which is not good for the artistes is their fans sparking a supremacy battle.
On several occasions, Harmonize has been urging fans to stop those comparisons of who is better than the other citing it could lead to divisions between him and Diamond whom he considers to be his mentor.
During a recent interview, Diamond's ex lover Wema Sepetu was asked to give her views over the same, surprisingly, the actress said Harmonize's brand is much bigger than that of her ex-lover.
"Label ya Harmonize imezidi ya Diamond. Siezi kusema exactly kwa kias gani but imemzidi, (His label is bigger than that of Diamond) said Wema.
However, considering Diamond who is currently dating a Kenyan Tanasha Donna, parted ways with Wema, it might have influenced Wema's selection on who is better in Bongo music.
Apparently, Harmonize and Diamond work under the same label WCB Wasafi, and it is Diamond who brought Harmonize to the game.
Harmonize paid back by getting Diamond-face tattoo on his leg, a permanent one.
