A mother and daughter fought while ripping each other's clothes after realising that they were sharing a man.
This happened on Sunday at King’oina Village, Kisii County after the two women realised that they were dating the same man and none of them was ready to quit the relationship.
After realising that her mother had an affair with her man, Jane Kerubo reprimanded her mother and told her to stop the illicit affair or inform her father who was working in Nairobi, as she was planning to get married to the man.
“The woman came with the man and were having a drink. Later on, a lady came who was said to be the woman’s daughter. Without much thoughts, she held her mother by the collar and lurched her forward. It followed a tough war between the two, ripping each others' clothes.” A shopkeeper who witnessed the incident told Hivisasa.
The fight was brought to an end by witnesses who had gathered and dissociated the two with the mother almost naked due to the tattered clothes.
The man jumped on a motorbike and fled away leaving the two.
One of the elders condemned the act saying it was a bad show and advised the residents to refrain from illicit affairs.
“This is an unprecedented incident that has occurred. Married people should stop illicit affairs which have led to the mother sharing the same man with her daughter.”
The area Chief Erick Omari confirmed the incident and condemned the action terming it as an abomination and a show of moral decay.
