The lawmaker says he has no association with the said Facebook page though it contains his name and photos.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the vocal legislator termed the 'other account' as fake noting that it has been used to spread derogatory information about an ODM governor meant to paint him in a bad light.

The 'fake' Facebook page contains posts attacking and maligning Mombasa governor Hassan Joho mercilessly, describing him as an academic dim wit and a drug peddler.

"I distance myself to any association with the fake Facebook page below. It has been spreading malicious and spiteful information meant to taint my name," reads part of the post.

The MP who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto further told the public not to take the account seriously.

He also indicated that he has already reported the incident to the police, hence, investigative agencies were after the culprit.

"Therefore, any information that the post disseminates should be treated with the contempt it deserves as the crook is being sought by investigative authority," noted Sudi in the post.
