LInda Lichuma Kwalwale, daughter to former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale is one of the top performers in this year's Kenya Certificate of Secondary (KCSE) exams.
Khalwale took to social media to congratulate the girl who scored an impressive A- mean grade according to the results released on Friday.
The former Alliance Girl's student scored three straight A's and two A-minuses, resulting in praises from her father.
"My family en I can’t find the appropriate words to thank God en the Alliance Girls’ High School for shaping my dota, Linda, into a super star in the 2018 KCSE. Congratulations my little Shipeng! And Thank You Lord!" he tweeted.
Linda, according to an electronic message transcript posted by the Senator scored an A- in Kiswahili language, a B in English, another straight A in French language.
She scored a B- in Biology, an A in arithmetic, an A in Chemistry, A- in history and an A in Physics.
Here are the results.
A total of 315 candidates scored direct a mean grade of A in the examination, while 90,377 met the university threshold after hitting the C+ mark.
Female candidate performed better in English, Metalwork Kiswahili and CRE and home science subjects as compared to their male colleagues.
