Stylish Nairobi County boss Mike Sonko for the first time revealed the estimated value of his watch.
Before becoming governor, Sonko was synonymous with fashion that often put his public life in question.
While appearing for an interview on Wednesday at Citizen TV, Sonko revealed the price of his golden watch.
"Not that much. I've been using it for a while. Si pesa mingi saana," he's heard telling presenters Jeff Koinange and Mike Okinyi.
He adds: "I bought it for $6,000. Not such costly. I got it from Dubai when I was in a business trip."
This translates to Sh600,000 given that the US dollar exchanges at roughly Sh100.
During the interview, Sonko defended his leadership style insisting that it would change the county for good.
"Kidero tried his corporate style and failed. I have to be ruthless to completely change our management," he added.
