This comes a week after the head of State burst into a rant at the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday, bashing a section of members for allegedly engaging in premature politics.

But Karori who says that the President has every right to point out problems within the party, is pf the opinion that he must do them in a manner that upholds his position as the symbol of unity.

Speaking on KTN's Inside Politics show on Sunday, he opined that Uhuru's conduct on Sunday did not go in line with that, and was a negative on matters national unity.

"Once in a while he might have issues and he is allowed to express his displeasures. But he must express them in a presidential manner, a manner that unites the country," he said.

He also questioned the President choice of language, after Uhuru retreated to his Kikuyu mother tongue during the rant.

Karori termed the act an unprecedented action never witnessed in Kenya, and which was avoided by all the three presidents ahead of him

"We never saw the founding father (Jomo Kenyatta), retired presidents Moi and Kibaki addressing the nation in any other language other than Kiswahili and English," he added.

Uhuru's rsnt also included threats of retaliation to a group which he claimed has been using political rallies to demean him.
