Harambee Stars Coach Sebastien Migne has named a 24-man provisional squad for Kenya’s final Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying match against Ghana.

The veteran Gor Mahia striker and Kenya’s all-time top scorer was first left out as Migne named a 24-man local based squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup and Chan qualifiers.

Fans have urged Migne to give Oliech an opportunity, saying that with the experience the player has can help the national team to progress through the group stages in Egypt.

Coach Migné has further named an additional five reserve players as a precautionary measure, who may be called upon to replace any of the 24 players in camp if need be.

The team is set to hit camp on March 17, 2019, in Nairobi ahead of the Ghana match which has been slated for March 23, 2019, in Accra.

Oliech retired from international football in 2016.
