Communist China has been dragged to the latest drastic changes in Kenya Police Service with President Uhuru Kenyatta on spot once again.
Amid escalating economic downtown coupled by hiked fuel prices, Kenyans are now blaming China for 'neocolonialism'.
In the changes overseen by Uhuru at KSG, police will now wear navy blue uniforms with a striking resemblance to People's Republic of China.
"I said that China is now taking over the country. In few years, they will take all our assets. I am sure they even loaned us uniforms," said Anwar Sadat on Facebook.
Another blogger, Michael Ochieng added: "We are officially a colony of China. The uniforms have vindicated me. More borrowing, more corruption then less development."
Kenya has since been perceived as 'moving towards East', a claim Uhuru dispelled when Britain PM Theresa May visited.
Apparently, after Uhuru's US tour, he hosted May before jetting to China.
"To me East or West doesn't matter. All we need is partnership and that is what we are doing."
The raising debt in the country has been linked to over-borrowing from China with a number of Kenyans warning of difficulty to pay the debt.
After his return on Monday, Uhuru has gone mum over 16% VAT with some Kenyans claiming he's 'hiding' in Beijing.
In the new police changes, 12 senior positions were scrapped and they include AP regional commander, Kenya Police regional commander, DCI regional commander,
Others are Kenya Police county commander, AP county commander, DCI county commander, sub-county commanders from all the three arms on the National Police Service , OCPD, district AP commander and AP ward commander.
