Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko visited former Westland's Member of Parliament Fred Gumo at his home in Nairobi.
In a message through his Facebook account, the city boss revealed that he visited the former Cabinet Minister for Local Government and Chairman City Council commission seeking for help in improving Nairobi and the lives of Nairobians.
"We discussed wide range of issues on improvement of the livelihoods of Nairobians. The Former Minister shared with me, a lot of Wisdom and his wealth of experience in the historical development of Nairobi City County," he said.
Sonko also revealed that he will be visiting other former Nairobi leaders.
"I thanked Mzee Hon Gumo for his warm reception and promised to be calling on him every other time for guidance and advice. I observed that there is need to visit former Heroic Leaders like Mzee Gumo Instead of the current trend of always visiting Former Presidents like Moi and Kibaki only," he said.
Sonko is motivated to leave the city a better place than he found it through various ways which include getting advice from people who know the city better.
